2010 Bible Conference
Dr. Doug Bookman will be the speaker for this year's Bible Conference in late June. Dr. Bookman is from Rockford and spent some years pastoring in Rock Falls, Wisconsin, so isn't a stranger to our area. But he has been ministering most recently at Shepherds Seminary in Cary, NC. The theme for this year's conference will be "The Life of Christ," specifically addressing the last week before His resurrection, the Passion Week. The meetings will begin Sunday evening (6/27, 5pm), and continue nightly through Wednesday evening June 30th (M-W, 6/28-6/30, 7pm). If you have any more specific questions about the conference, please email Jeremy Scott.Life Groups continuing!
Our "Life Group" program will be continuing throughout the summer months, with small groups of Morning Star members and attendees meeting for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.
The groups in various locations and meeting at various times—most of which are meeting on alternating Sundays, but one group will meet weekly on Sunday afternoons, in lieu of a corporate evening meeting (especially for those who
have to travel a long distance). If you have not yet joined a Life Group, or if you have other questions please contact one of the leadership team.

STILL striving for a Gospel-driven and enduring response to post-earthquake needs in Haiti
Morning Star's missions/disaster relief ministry arm, Global Grace Missions, is still collecting funds, following up on connections, and seeking strategic wisdom for a right response (i.e., a Gospel-driven, long-lasting response) to the current situation in Haiti.
A second team returned home on March 23rd from a week-long trip to Leogane, the region hardest hit by the earthquake. You can read the latest reports about Morning Star|Global Grace relief efforts on the Global Grace blog.
Radio ministry off, BUT podcasts & free downloads continue!
We regret to inform our listeners that our Sunday morning program has been cancelled in conjunction with the recent sale of Radio 91 to KLOVE. Morning Star messages are still available for free online as free downloadable MP3s. Check out our audio resources here on the website for sermon downloads. You can also subscribe to podcasts there. Years of archived sermons up until just recent ones are available anytime from our MSBC SermonAudio profile. Keep listening!
Some Morning Star men were able to attend this year's
Together for the Gospel
conference in Louisville (4/13-15). Thanks for your prayers for safety and that all would enjoy an enriching time of fellowship and Gospel-centered preaching.
